What is Cambridge Live Tickets?
Cambridge Live Tickets is the Box Office for all of the ticketed events Cambridge Live runs which includes all public ticketed events at the Corn Exchange, Guildhall & the Folk Festival.
Cambridge Live Tickets also acts as a ticket agent for events throughout Cambridge and beyond covering comedy, live music, dance and more. Some of the exciting events we sell for include world class classical music performances from The Academy of Ancient music and brilliant local venues including the Portland Arms and West Road Concert Hall.
How do I book tickets?
Online: You can book online 24 hours a day for all of our events at link needed
Phonelines: Monday-Friday: 10am – 5pm
*Please note: due to staffing availability, there may be times we are not able to open phonelines during our stated hours. If we are not open, please email tickets@cambridge.gov.uk with your query and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
In person: The Box Office is currently open on Corn Exchange performance days only. From 6pm for evening performances, or 1 hour before the start time for matinees.
Why do I need to pay a booking fee?
Our goal is to provide an excellent personal service to our customers and to do this requires a lot of resource. The booking fee we levy contributes to the cost of running Cambridge Live.
This includes the processing fee levied by the banks, the VAT payable on the fee, our investment into the ticketing technology, hardware, staffing costs and other associated costs.
What payment cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Solo and UK Maestro.
We do not accept American Express.
What happens to my data when I book?
When you book through Cambridge Live Tickets information we require to process your transaction includes your name, address and postcode and will always ask for your phone number in case anything happens to the event you are attending. All of the information we holds is securely stored.
Cambridge Live Events: If you have given permission to us to send marketing materials to you when you have booked for a Cambridge Live Event which includes all events at the Corn Exchange, the Guildhall spaces and the Folk Festival we do not share your data with any other companies and you will only receive information from us.
Other events we sell for: If you have given permission to us to send marketing materials to you when you have booked other events we sell for such as the Britten Sinfonia or the Academy of Ancient Music we will share your information with the organisation you have booked for only. In this instance you will receive information from Cambridge Live and the organisation you have book for only.
Can I sell tickets for my event through Cambridge Live Tickets?
Yes you can!
We would be very happy to sell tickets to your event. For more information please e-mail the Box Office team at Cambridge Live Tickets tickets@cambridge.gov.uk where they can provide you with information on our charges and marketing support we can provide for the event you are selling for.
