Jordan Ashman benefit concert

JORDAN ASHMAN – PERCUSSIONIST

BBC YOUNG MUSICIAN OF THE YEAR 2022

The Rotary Club of Cambridge Rutherford have teamed up with Queens’ College to promote a benefit concert in support of Jordan Ashman’s continuing musical studies.

FROM MILTON TO THE MAIN STAGE

Jordan grew up in Milton, was educated at Impington Village College and Hills Road Sixth Form College, before going on to the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, graduating in 2026. Now, as he begins his postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London, your support will help fund tuition fees and the next chapter of an extraordinary career — one that's already been recognised on the national stage.

A NIGHT OF EXCEPTIONAL MUSIC

The evening will open with Django’s Tiger performing swing jazz followed by Jordan performing some of his favourite pieces. After the interval, the Cambridge Harmony Chorus will perform a selection of Christmas music followed by another set from Jordan.
