Description
As part of this summer’s Folk in the City series, we’re excited to present a special ticketed event at Cambridge Junction 2 on Friday 1 August.
Join us for an evening of outstanding performances as we kick off a weekend of brilliant live music across Cambridge!
Noble Jacks – A fiddle-driven thrill ride of folk-Americana whose explosive live shows have lit up Glastonbury, Isle of Wight and major European festivals. Nominated Live Act of the Year 2023 by the Americana Music Association UK, the band’s third album Last of the Wild stormed straight into the Official Americana Top 40.
Lizzy Hardingham – A compelling singer-songwriter with a voice “that demands to be heard” (FATEA). Blending the storytelling spirit of Joni Mitchell with the power of KT Tunstall, she has wowed Cambridge Folk Festival and earned a FATEA Female Artist of the Year nomination while touring her critically acclaimed album How Did We Get Here?.
Chris Fox – Cambridgeshire’s genre-defying folk troubadour fuses contemporary folk, Americana and blues with loop-pedal alchemy and rich vocals. A Sheringham Showcase winner and festival favourite, he recently released his lauded second studio album In Plain Sight.
Don’t miss this unforgettable evening of folk music in the heart of the city.
