Description

Women’s Circle: Exploring Autonomy and special circle preparing us for our women's circle retreat.

This women’s circle is inspired by Self-Determination Theory, which highlights the three core psychological needs of every human being: autonomy, relatedness, and competence.

In this gathering, we will focus on autonomy our sense of self-direction and freedom of choice. Together, we will explore questions such as: What does autonomy mean in your life right now?, How do you experience autonomy in your body, mind, decision-making, and finances?, In which areas of life are you longing for more autonomy?

This circle is designed to be a brave, safe and supportive space for women to reflect, share, and work in their personal growth.

What will be happening in the 3 hours?

Women’s Circle (90 minutes) by Amazonia Arroyo a guided coaching circle around the theme of autonomy.

Breathwork with Gemma Hewett to concious connected breathwork for emotional release and self discovery, to compliment the discussion around our own autonomy.

About Gemma "After years of working as a technical coach in the corporate world, I transitioned from finance to fitness, combining my passions in coaching and exercise and became a Personal Trainer. Discovering that movement was the perfect medicine for so many to manage their mental health, this was just the start of my journey into helping people with their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. During my own learning and experimentation, I stumbled across breathwork, and like with fitness, I fell in love with its transformative power. Breathwork has since become a part of my daily routine, my go to when I feel stuck, anxious or in need of an energy boost, and I knew from the start this was something I wanted to share with the world"

Why am I bringing new workshop guests to our circle?

As part of my personal growth, I have explored different tools such as breathwork, meditation, yoga that have helped me to have more autonomy of my nervious system . These practices have supported me in advancing on my own transitions.

I am bringing into our women’s circle some of the tools and guides that have been meaningful to me and that might also support you. At the same time, I want to emphasise that it is always your personal choice and responsibility to decide how deeply you wish to engage with these practices. The circle is a safe and supportive space, and each woman is free to take what resonates and leave what does not.
