Cambridge Wine Fair is back, and honestly, we think this will be the best one yet.

Picture this: two and a half hours on a Sunday afternoon, wandering through the Garden Suite at Clayton Hotel with glass in hand, discovering wines you've never heard of from people who are passionate about what they do. No rushed presentations, no pressure - just you, some brilliant wine retailers and the freedom to taste whatever catches your fancy.

This event is organised by Cambridgeshire Wine School, who have spent months tracking down interesting suppliers, importers and local vineyards and wineries to exhibit. All tastings are included in your ticket - no awkward fumbling for change when you want to try something interesting.

When: Sunday May 10th 2026, 12.30pm-3pm OR 4pm-6.30pm Where: Clayton Hotel (literally one minute from Cambridge Station) Tickets: £35 each, or grab two for £60 (15% discount)

What you'll find: Unlimited tastings at every table, proper wine knowledge from people who live and breathe it, special fair-only prices and the chance to take bottles home or order and arrange delivery. Perfect timing to sort your summer wine stash, really.

We'll have professional spittoons available - because let's face it, nobody wants to leave a wine fair feeling too wobbly in the afternoon.

The merchants: We're still finalising our lineup, but you can expect a good mix of familiar faces and exciting new discoveries, local vineyards and Cambridge’s own small winery!

Hungry? The Tamburlaine restaurant is right there in the hotel (15% off with your wine fair ticket), or you've got Tawa Indian, Station Tavern and the Old Ticket Office all within easy walking distance.

Just so you know, this is a proper walkaround event - no seating, but plenty of space to move about and chat.

If you need a care assistant to accompany, simply email info@cambridgeshirewineschool.com and we will provide an essential companion ticket at zero charge. They will not be able to participate in the wine tasting or have any food, but if you would like a companion to be able to participate, then simply purchase a ticket for them.

Accessibility at Clayton Hotel

Cambridge Wine Fair will be held downstairs. Other events may be upstairs on the first floor with two lifts providing easy access.

There is step-free access and room for wheelchairs at all Cambridgeshire Wine School events in Clayton Hotel and disabled access to toilets is also available.
